TOPIC: Back To The Future With Good Grammar

In the educational industry, there is a struggle with fundamental teaching practices. Since the early 1980s, there was a shift away from basic grammar and sentence structure understanding. This has impacted writing skill levels, communication, and most importantly, career mobility.

Reading is required for survival, math to be financially literate, and grammar skill to move up the economic ladder. By sharing stories of educational triumphs, and mixing in sentence structure teaching into the mix, attendees discover the basics that provide the foundation for their future success.

Participants will leave the session able to:

  • Recognize the importance of grammar fundamentals in speech and communication.

  • Analyze several sentence structure basics and how to use them.

  • Apply good grammar knowledge to future writing endeavors.
